The concept of returning knit and the knit method are simply introduced in the paper. By way of contrast, the wrinkle formed by returning knit and the approach to shape the local three-dimensional appearance are detailedly analyzed and investigated. Moreover, from the fashion design point of view the wrinkle and the local three-dimensional appearance can be used in the design of woollen sweater. This has the functional and decorative features. These conclusions provide more design ideas for the designing staff and promote the development of sweater product.
