英译中部分
American informality is evident in the workplace. Workers and supervisors, even executives, may be on a first name basis. That does not mean that there is any confusion as to where the authority lies. It is just in keeping with the American's sense of an egalitarian society. Normally, executive and staff will be well dressed (suits and dresses) while in the office. Many companies will, however, designate a day every week as "dress down day", permitting staff to dress more informally, which may even extend to the wearing of jeans and T-shirts.
