Review on the Basic Theory of Library Science Indigenization

在探讨实施图书馆学本土化必要性的基础上,进一步阐释"本土化"与"中国图书馆具体实际"的内涵,即本土化实质是西方图书馆学基本原理与中国图书馆学、中国传统文化和中国实践经验的有机统一;中国图书馆具体实际包括中国图书馆的当前现实和中国传统文化——中国图书馆学发展实际。并对图书馆本土化的目的以及现存的种种误解进行详细的论述。

Based on the discussion on the necessity of the library science indigenization, the paper elaborates the contents of indigenization and Chinese library practices. That is, the indigenization actually is that the basic principles of the western library are integrated with the Chinese library science, the Chinese traditional culture and the Chinese practice. The Chinese library practice includes the present situation of Chinese library and the Chinese traditional culture Chinese library science practice. The paper also expounds the purpose of library indigenization and the existing misconceives.
