摘要
文章以"The Donkey of Guizhuo"为例,通过测试、问卷、访谈的方式调查了在英汉翻译时,如果文化图式不缺失,大学生能否建立、激活文化图式,找出最佳关联,深化语篇理解;是否存在制约因素。调查研究发现:绝大多数大学生能激活文化图式;词汇量、语法和母语水平以及高风险回避现象在某种程度上制约其激活;建议教学中应交际法和传统的教学法相结合,强调外语学习与母语修养兼重。
By using The Donkey of Guizhuo as experimental material,this paper attempts to study whether or not the college students can benefit from cultural schemata and Relevance,ineluding the potential counterproductive factors. It concludes that most subjects can foster cul- tural schemata to understand the discourse. Vocabulary,grammar and Chinese proficiency impede the translation process. The anthors propose the combination of communicative and traditional pedagogy,emphasizing the urgency to improve Chinese proficiency.
