Traditional opera ＂Peony Pavilion＂ and novel ＂A Dream in Red Mansions＂ are the two milestone - like love works in the Chinese classical history of literature. This article analyzes the love view which the subject and content of these two works have manifested and the love between Du Liniang--Liu Mengmei and Lin Daiyu--Jia Bao yu.
