Relapsing polychondritis（RP） is a rare autoimmune disease. It usually affects ear, nose,larynx, trachea, bronchi and articular cartilage. It is a chronic progressive recurrent inflammatory disease with multi - system disorders. The diagnosis depends on clinical manifestations, without specific laboratory methods. Immunotherapy is the main treatment option. Corticosteroids serve as the first choice to control symptoms of acute periods as well as to decrease its recurrence. Treating RP with immunosuppressive could achieve somewhat effect.
