A Study of Severals Issues Relating to the History of the "Revolution of the Three Regions"

新疆三区革命是在盛世才反苏反共,对新疆各族人民实行残酷的政治迫害和经济盘剥的反动政策逼迫下,在苏联的策动组织下发生的,是反对盛世才和国民党反动统治,争取民族平等和解放的革命斗争。由于各种复杂的原因,在革命过程中发生过分裂祖国,反汉排汉的严重错误,但最终接受了中国共产党的领导,为新疆的和平解放做出了重要贡献。

Impelled by Sheng Shicai's policy of opposing the Soviet Union and communism, persecuting politically and exploiting economically the peoples in Xinjaing, the 'Revolution of the Three Regions' took place in Xinjiang under the instigate of the Soviet Union. It is a revolutionary struggle against the reactionary rule of Kuomintang as well as Sheng Shicai and for liberation of and equality among ethnic groups. Although some serious mistakes, such as trying to split the country, opposing Han people, occurred during the revolution due to various complicated reasons, the revolution accepted the leadership of the Communist Party of China at last and made significant contribution to the peaceful liberation of Xinjiang.
