论中古假面戏群

On Masque Group of the Mediaeval Times

中古是我国假面(头)戏流行的时代,本文对这些戏剧(弄)进行了汇集,以"假面戏群"这一新的概念对之作出概括,对假面戏群的共同特点作了分析归纳,认为:第一,这一群体与中古的参军戏、傀儡戏、傩戏、百戏、歌舞戏之间存在着若干联系;第二,这一戏剧(弄)群体多数带有悲剧的性质;第三,此群体中的大多数与西域艺术有直接的渊源关系。

Masque was popular in China during the mediaeval times. This article collects masques, gives a new concept 'masque group' as well as analyzes and sums up the common features of masque group. The author thinks, first, this group was associated with Canjunxi drama, puppet show, Nuo opera, Bai Xi (acronatics) and song-dance drama; second, most works of this group are tragedy; third, most members of this groups have direct origin from the Western Regions' art.
