基于第二代Curvelet变换的指纹增强研究

摘要 指纹增强是指纹特征提取前的必要步骤,为了增加指纹识别算法的鲁棒性,必须对指纹图像进行去噪、连接断纹、增强纹线走势等处理。本文分析了现有的一些算法的不足,简要介绍了Curvelet变换理论以及第二代Curvelet变换实现方法,提出了基于第二代Curvelet变换的指纹图像增强算法。实验结果表明,本算法简单有效,能够实现指纹图像增强的要求。 The enhancement of fingerprint is necessary for characters extracting in automatic fingerprint identification. It includes denoising, link injured ridges and enhance ridges' moving shapes. In this paper we present an algorithm for the enhancement of fingerprint based on a new mathematical transform, namely, the second generation Curvelet transform. We also introduce its theory and implementation briefly. The result shows that the algorithm is effective and the transform is attracting.
