摘要
用一种简单近似的数值模拟方法,模拟了光学速调管的自发辐射,分析和讨论了电子束能散对光学速调管自发辐射谱非线性展宽效应;模拟结果表明,当能散度大于0.001时,三次谐波辐射谱的调制深度将接近于零;因此为了得到更大的调制因子和更强增益,以保证三次相干谐波的产生;光学速调管必须在更低的电子束能散度下工作.
A numerical simulation of Optical Klystron (OK) spontaneous emission is presented by a simple and approximation method first in NSRL. This paper analyzes and discusses the inhomogeneous broadening effect of OK spontaneous emission spectra.The simulation results show that the modulation rate of the third harmonic wave emission is close to zero if the degree of electron beam energy spread is greater than 0.001. Therefore, to obtain a higher modulation rate and stronger gain for assuring generation of the third coherent harmonic wave emission,OK must operate in the lower degree of electron beam energy spread.
