真、假钞的X荧光鉴别法

The Identification of the False Paper Currency

首次报道了用质子激发X荧光（PIXE）法鉴别假钞的实验结果．实验采用PIXE能谱法测定纸币印刷油墨的化学元素成分和相对含量，依此来判定人民币的真、假．实验结果表明，该方法不仅可以识别人民币的真与假，而且也可以判定假钞种类的异同，这对于追踪假钞的来源或制造地是有用的．

This paper reports the experimental results on the identification of the false Renminbi by using proton induced X-ray emission (PIXE). The measured PIXE spectra show the elemental compositions of the pigments for the false Renminbi are different from that of the genuine, So PIXE method can be used to discern the false paper currency from the genuine. The measured PIXE spectra also show that the elemental compositions are different each other from the false Renminbi that are made by different fabricators', thus it means PIXE method is useful to the provenance of false paper currency.
