2008年全年金融运行的主要情况是:广义货币M2增长17.8%;全年贷款增加较多,其中短期贷款和中长期贷款基本与上年持平,票据融资多增明显;储蓄存款增速持续加快,企业存款增速下降;货币市场流动性充足,利率水平大幅下降;人民币汇率总体稳定,年末海外市场对人民币汇率存在贬值预期。
In 2008, China＇s financial performance showed the following features： Growth of M2 reached 17.8%. Loans increased markedly during the year; loans of all terms kept a growth level similar to 2007, while financing via commercial papers grew obviously. Savings deposits continued to accelerate, and expansion of corporate deposits slowed down. There was ample liquidity in the money market and market interest rates dipped by big margins. The RMB exchange rate remained stable, but there appeared depreciation expectation for RMB in overseas markets.
