This paper introduces the determination of residual monomer in fluorocarbon resin by capillary chromatography method. The method is diluting the sample by solvent, separating the free radical by capillary chromatography method and then determining the quantity by hydrogen flame ionization detector through internal standard. Determining the residual monomer amounts in fluorocarbon resin before and after treatment shows that this method is of high sensitivity and good reproducibility and has achieved satisfying result in the use in research and development of fluorocarbon resin.
