英汉翻译中文化因素的多维思考

Reflections on cultural factors in E-C translation

针对翻译中存在的文化因素的问题,采用了举例说明与归纳相结合的方法,从五个维度探讨、分析了英汉翻译中所涉及的文化因素在英汉翻译中的重要性及如何有效地避免由文化差异所造成的误译现象。结果表明,语言的文化因素对翻译起着重要的作用,因此译者在翻译过程中,要重视文化因素,并不断提高自己的文化素养。

In view of the problems of cultural factors in translation, examplification and induction are taken to explore and analyse how important the cultural factors are in English--Chinese translation and how best to avoid mistranslations due to cultural differences,and the conclusion has been reached that cuhural factors play a decisive role in his/her translation. Therefore, cultural elements deserve translators＂ attention in the translation process, and translators need to polish themselves on their knowledge concerning culture.
