摘要
本文从跨语言的语料分析证明双宾语结构并不一定都表示"致使拥有",与格结构也不一定只表示"致使转移",这两个结构所表达的上述语义不是由结构本身所决定,而由动词决定。本文说明,双及物动词所表达的基本语义为"传递",双宾语结构的传递及其方向意义并不一定由动词决定,而由结构本身决定。将"致使拥有"和"致使转移"意义归因于动词,将传递的方向意义归因于结构,有利于对不同语言中的双宾语结构进行统一分析,有利于发现语言的共性。
This paper shows from crosslinguistic data that the double object construction may not necessarily express caused possession meaning and the dative construction may not only express caused motion meaning.It is argued that the two meanings are not determined by the constructions,but by the verbs and that the basic meaning of the double object construction is transfer,the directionality of which is determined by the construction,not by verbs.
