在世界范围内,不同国家对职业教育与培训的关注点不尽相同。相比之下,这些不同的关注点在我国都能得到体现。现阶段我国职业教育的时代特征表现为:从社会角度看,发展职业教育是改善民生的重要举措;从经济角度看,发展职业教育是摆脱"两难"境遇的必然选择;从教育角度看,发展职业教育是化解教育矛盾的关键环节;从自身看,职业教育已经具备了进一步发展的基础。

Different countries concern vocational education and training differently in the world. Comparatively, these different attention points all can embody in China. Nowadays, the age characteristics of vocational education in China are： from the perspective of society, the development of vocational education is important measure for improving people＇s livelihood; from the perspective of economy, the development of vocational education is necessary selection of getting rid of ＂dilemma＂ condition; from the perspective of education, the development of vocational education is the key step for melting educational conflict; from vocational education itself, it is already have the development basis.
