首先描述了IMS的应用背景,介绍IMS标准制定过程及其应用领域,同时给出了3GPP标准组织对IMS架构的定义和各功能实体在IMS架构中的作用;其次,分别描述了IMS3种组网应用模式:移动应用模式、固网应用模式和固定移动融合应用模式,并介绍固定移动融合应用中终端在不同网络漫游原理;最后简要介绍了IMS的未来发展前景。
The paper describes the applications of IMS, introduces the IMS standardization and its corresponding fields of application, and provides the IMS architecture definition of 3GPP and the functionalities of each function entity in the architecture. Then a description is presented of three IMS networking modes ： mobile application mode, fixed application mode and fixed mobile convergence mode with emphasis on the terminal roaming principles between different domain networks in the fixed mobile convergence mode. The paper concludes with a brief description of the future development of IMS.
