The Theory and Reality of Nation-state

民族国家理论以民族自决作为理论依据,追求一族一国的经典模式。自其产生之后,这一理论一直是国内外学术界争论的话题,面临着理想与现实的冲突困境。实际上,民族国家理论的实施是相对的、有条件的,有着特定的时间和空间背景,因此,这一困境可以通过非殖民化背景下的鼓励、主权不可分割原则下的限制、国家认同意识的强化进行尝试性解决。

Taking national self-determination as its theoretical foundation, the theory of nation-state gave rise to much discussion in the academic circle at home and abroad, and faced a conflict between ideal and reality since its appearance. As a matter of fact, implementing the theory of nation-state requires the specific background of time and space. This conflict can be solved tentatively by encouraging de-colonization, limiting the principle that sovereignty is indivisible and strengthening the consciousness of stateidentity.
