Constructing the City Memory——A Preliminary Exploration of Function Expansion of Archival Research and Codification of City Public Archives

从某种意义上讲,档案编研的过程就是编研人员依据一定的价值标准和原则,从档案馆藏中筛选"原料",建构城市记忆的过程。以建构城市记忆为价值取向的档案编研工作应当遵循集体性、原真性、整体性和系统性的编研原则。

City Public Archives is a ＂Warehouse＂ which preserves city memory, and archival research and compilation is one of its basic functions. In a sense, the process of archival research and compilation is also a progress to select ＂raw materials＂ from the collection of archives and construct the city memory by archivists, based on certain values and principles. To construct city memory, Archival research and compilation should follow the collective, authenticity, integrated and systematic principles.
