Analysis on Soft Proofing Performance of LCD Display

通过分析比较LCD显示器与所用输出设备色彩表现特性,即色域边界的2D_xy和3D_L*a*b*差异,建立了体现LCD显示器表现输出设备色彩能力的等明度色域面积差异、色域体积差异、最大颜色差异的色调、彩度等分析指标,以体现LCD显示器模拟输出色彩的整体能力。实验结果表明,所建立指标能够从宏观的色域体积、面积差异值,微观的具体颜色特性差异,并配合相应的图示,从不同的角度较为全面地分析LCD显示器的软打样色彩表现能力。

Through analysis and comparison on the color representation characteristics of the LCD monitors and the export equipment, the analytical indicators which represent the LCD monitors performance were established, such as equal brightness gamut area, gamut volume, and maximal color difference. The results showed that the established indicators can be used to analyze comprehensively the soft proofing color representation ability of LCD display, from the difference in macro gamut volume and area, and the differences value of specific color characteristics.
