阐述了美国推行的超前消费模式下,消费品市场空前繁荣,同时也导致了过度消费、盲目消费。当经济危机来临时,大众的消费心理与消费行为发生了很大变化,直接影响了产品的市场前景,对新产品的设计与开发带来严峻挑战。指出美国模式的巨大隐患促使设计者重新思考什么才是合理而正确的设计策略,并试图在此基础上建立更为可行的设计观念。
American mode of consumption caused the prosperity of markets, while it also leads to overconsumption and blind-consumption. When the financial tsunami is coming, people's consumption psychology and behavior change a lot. It influences the market prospects and challenges new product design and development. It was put forward that the great hidden trouble of American style makes designer to rethink the design strategy and try to establish new design concept.
