Application of Metal Detector in Coal Conveying System in Thermal Power Plant

国内火电厂输煤系统多采用除铁器去除燃煤中的铁屑等磁性金属,对非磁性金属的检测重视不够,导致输煤系统下游设备故障率偏高。分析了我国火电厂燃煤的特点,阐述了输煤系统使用金属探测仪的必要性,介绍了金属探测仪的工作原理和安装方案,提出了布设金属探测仪应注意的问题。

Coal conveying system for thermal power plant in China mainly uses magnetic separator to remove iron and other magnetic metal in coal-fired, which results in high rate of equipment failure in the backward position of the coal conveying system due to inadequate attention on the detection of non-magnetic metal. This paper analyzes the characteristics of the coal-fired in domestic themlal power plants, expounds the necessity of metal detectors in the coal conveying system, introduces the working principle and installation scheme for the metal detector, and points out some problems when emplacing a metal detector.
