城市轴线是城市规划中一种常用的空间组织手法,在古今中外的城市规划中都能找到城市轴线的存在,本文通过对城市轴线的基本概况与特征的分析,并以北京和巴黎两座典型的城市为案例,分析了城市轴线在中外城市规划建设中的重要作用和意义。

Urban axis is a common spatial organization approach for urban planning. In ancient and current urban planning, internal and internationally, we can find the existence of urban axis. based on the analysis to the basic profiles and characteristics of urban axis, This paper takes two typical cities Beijing and Paris for the case, analyzes the important role and significance of urban axis in China urban planning and construction, and in foreign counterparts.
