A new composite gradient algorithm (CGA) of nonlinear adaptive IIR filters (NAIIRF) is presented. It does not need stability monitoring in the adaptive process. NAIIRF using CGA can reach the global optimization of objective function and quickly convergent. Experimental results show that CGA has higher convergence performance as compared with other algorithms.
