On the Theory of Maritime Hegemonies and Harmonious Oceanography

21世纪是海洋世纪。在当今和平时代里,国家与国家之间的竞争,主要表现在能源、资源的竞争,人与自然的和谐发展以及科学技术的进步。如何用和平的手段去获取国家对海洋的控制权益,提高国家的综合竞争能力,是我国重要的海洋战略。文章结合马汉的海权论,立足海洋新世纪的发展趋势,论述如何构建当代我国和谐海洋大战略观。

The 21st century is the century of oceans. At the present time of peace, the competition between nations is mainly embodied in the striving for the energy resources, the harmonious development between humanity and nature, and the development of science and technology. How to obtain and control national oceanic interests and rights peacefully so as to enhance the national comprehensive competitive power is an important part of China＇s oceanic strategy. In combination with Mahen＇s theory of maritime hegemonies and the development trend at the new age, this article discusses how to build the harmonious oceanography and realize the interests and rights of contemporary China.
