摘要
为了缩短终端的VoWLAN业务在AP间的切换时间,采用了多重SSID使得系统优先处理语音等时延敏感应用、超级AP与P2P寻呼区避免数据瓶颈、终端优化和AP优化缩短寻找新AP的时间、先连后断改善语音切换效果等多种方法.这些措施使AP间切换小于100ms,从而使VoWLAN在切换过程中的语音损失处于用户不察觉的范围之内.在遵守802.11系列标准的前提下,经过适当的改良,WLAN网络完全能够支持VoIP业务.
To shorten the hand over time between two APs(access point) for VoWLAN(voice over wireless local area network), the following solutions are studied: to take multi SSID(service set IDentifier) for voice service passing through first; super AP and P2P(peer to peer) architecture for avoiding data bottleneck; STA(station) and AP improvement for short seeking ring; link off-after-Link up for holding VoIP(voice of IP) data. With these measures the hand over time will less than 100 ms. the loss of VoWLAN is so small that a speaking person would not perceive the hand over process. This shows that: the WLAN network can support VoIP well after some necessary improvements while obeying 802.11 serials standards.
