摘要
针对电脑横机编织需要可靠的数据交换,提出一种新型控制器,由工控机和FPGA主控板构成,通过PC104总线进行数据传输.主控板由SpartanTM-3系列FPGA、配置PROM、双向电平转换器等构成,介绍了用VHDL语言描述的FPGA内的PC104接口逻辑,给出了程序代码,经编译、综合、下载后,通过逻辑分析仪测量了总线数据读取时序,时序图表明该接口工作稳定.实际应用也证明,该接口体积小,性价比高,并可移植.
The running of computerized flat knitter requires the controller to exchange data reliably. This paper introduces a novel controller composed of industrial personal computer (IPC) and FPGAbased main control unit, which can transmit data through the PC104 bus. The main control unit includes SpartanTM-3 family of FPGA ( field-programmable gate array), configuration PROM and bidirectional level shifter, et al. A program written in VHDL is introduced in this paper as an example of reading and writing data from the FPGA to the IPC through the PC104 bus interface. The diagram indicates that the interface works stably after the VHDL code is compiled, synthesized and downloaded into the FPGA and the timing diagram of bus data is measured by the logic analyzer. The practical application proves that the interface is small in size, cost-effective and transplantable.
