An Analysis of Six Major Problems in the Cross-regional Operation of the Newspapering

The cross-regional operation of the newspapering is confronted with six major problems： the choosing of the strategic expansion mode, of expansion strategies, of expansion opportunities, of expansion costs, and of ex-situ management. Conclusions can be drawn through analysis of the generation and influences of these problems： currently, the multi-edition mode and the cooperative mode of running newspapers are more feasible in terms of choosing cross-regional operational modes in China; while in terms of choosing competitive strategies, a combination of various strategies according to the varying conditions of the newspapering market is more
