林业系统渎职犯罪的思考

Thinking of dereliction of duty in forestry system

最高人民检察院于2008年4月22日下午召开反渎职侵权专项工作电视电话会议,决定于2008年5月至2009年11月间,在全国检察机关开展查办危害能源、资源和生态环境渎职犯罪专项工作。明确涉林渎职犯罪案件是这次专项工作重点查办的案件之一。林业是国家重点发展产业,在促进经济社会可持续发展,推进生态文明建设中具有十分重要的作用。在新形势下如何提高对林业系统渎职犯罪重要性、紧迫性的认识,如何做好惩治和预防此类渎职犯罪工作,已成为摆在我们面前的重要课题。

In the afternoon of April 22, 2008, the Supreme People＇s Procuratorate held a special teleconference meeting about the work of anti-malfeasance, decided to carry out the investigation and handling of dereliction of duty which is harmful to energy, resources and the ecological environment in the procuratorial organs across the country from May 2008 to November 2009. Clarifying dereliction of duty involving forestry is the special focus of the investigation and handling. Forestry is the national developing industry, and plays an important role in promoting sustainable economic development and promoting ecological civilization construction. Under the new situation how to improve the understanding of the importance and urgency of the dereliction of duty in forestry system, how to do a good job of punishing and preventing such crimes has become an important subject before us.
