摘要
采用三重标志重捕法调查了西安市区４个尖唇散白蚁成熟群体的取食个体数量和取食范围，取食个体数量为每群２２万～９７万头，取食范围为１８～１９２ｍ２，直线距离可达２５ｍ．
Foraging populations of four colonies of the subterranean termite, Reticulitermes aculabialis Tsai et Hwang, were surveyed in residential environment in Xi′an, China, using the triple mark recapture procedure. The foraging populations ranged from 0.22～0.97 million per colony,and the foraging territories encompassed an area of 18～192 m 2 and a linear foraging distance of 8～25 m. The real population of R.aculabialis was much larger than the foraging population according to the nest anatomy.
