How to Improve Students’ Comprehensive Listening Competence

为培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听、说能力,大学英语四、六级考试题型在改革中,以提高听力比分最为明显。如何提高英语听力能力是每一位大学生和英语教师一直在探索的问题。本文拟从语言知识、听力技巧、文化和知识面等方面入手,谈谈如何在听力教学中系统地帮助学生提高英语听力能力。

To cultivate the students＇English comprehensive applied ability, testing of students＇ listening competence has been highlighted in CET4/6 after the reform. As a result, students＇ listening ability should be the first thing teachers and students take into account. This paper illustrates how to enhance students＇comprehensive listening competence from the various aspects such as English knowledge, listening technique, culture and knowledge range.
