A Survey of the Relations between Students' Self-concep tion and Their English Achievements

学生的英语自我概念对自己的学习成绩有重大影响。本文通过探讨自我概念的内涵,设计问卷调查学生的自我概念情况,研究了学生自我概念和学习成绩的密切关系,并对外语教师如何帮助学生提高自我概念提出中肯建议。

The self-conception of the students will have an important effect to their English achievements. This paper reports the relationship between students＇ English self-conception and their English achievements through inquiring into self-conception intension and a questionnaire about students＇ self-conception. And in the end, this paper gives some pertinent advice about how to improve students＇ self-conception.
