The Research on Borel's Finite Set Covering Thoughts

摘要 基于原始文献,利用历史分析和比较的方法,深入探讨了波莱尔有限覆盖思想的思想背景、思想方法和重要影响.从历史角度考察了魏尔斯特拉斯、庞斯列等人的有限覆盖思想,分析了波莱尔的有限覆盖思想在集合紧致理论中的重要意义. This paper discusses Borel＇ s work relating to finite set covering theorem on the basis of historical analysis and literature reviewing. It analyzes the background, the method and the significance of his idea. It shows K. Weierstrass and S. Pincherle＇ s thoughts about finite set covering theorem.
