摘要
蜂窝数字分组数据(CDPD,Cellular Digital Packet Data)是利用现有的AMPS制式模拟移动通信设备提供无线数字分组交换数据服务的一项技术.其特点是不必另外申请频率,只通过对现有信道的跳越使用来提供移动数据业务,使蜂窝网能同时处理语音和数据业务.它大大提高了信道的利用率,对于有效利用有限的频谱资源和降低用户费用是一个成功的例子.而我国目前所使用的TACS制式900MHz模拟蜂窝系统在原理上与AMPS制式模拟蜂窝系统非常相似,文章探讨CDPD的关键技术及其在我国的应用前景.
Cellular Digital Packet Data(CDPD) is a wireless technology that provides packet switched data transfer service using the existing analog mobile communication equipment , the advanced mobile phone system(AMPS). Its character is that it needn't apply for additional frequencies. It provides mobile data services by hopping between idle channels, which makes the cellular network can provide both voice and data services. It greatly improves the channel efficiency. It's a success example of effectively using the limited frequency and obviously lowering the cost of the subscribers. The 900 MHz TACS analog cellular system which is currently using in our country is closely similar to the AMPS analogy cellular system. We will discuss the key technology of the CDPD and its applying prospect in our country.
