摘要
无线局域网(Wireless LAN)是20世纪90年代计算机网络与无线通信技术相结合的产物,它提供了使用无线多址信道的一种有效方法来支持计算机之间的通信,并为通信的移动化、个人化和多媒体应用提供了潜在的手段。本文主要介绍了校园无线局域网的基本原理、拓扑结构以及无线校园网的设计,最后对无线校园网的发展进行了展望。
Wireless LAN is the combination of computer networks and wireless communication techniques in 1990s.It provides effective methods for using wireless multi-address channel to support inter-computer communication as well as for communication migration, personalization and the multi-media applications. This paper focuses on the fundamental principles of campus wireless LAN, topological structure and its design. Looking forward to the development of wireless campus network at the end of the paper.
