摘要
本文简要综合了1997年平板显示技术和市场的最新发展情况，指出LCD在未来一段时间内都占平板显示的主流地位，彩色PDP作为壁挂电视的有力候选人，将逐步进入千家万户。
The lastest development of FPD in 1997 is rewiewed. According to the au-thors opinion, LCD will remain the main stream of FPD in the near future. Color PDP, as a candidate of wall hanging TV set, will gradually enter ordinary consumer market.
