谷子新品种九谷14号的选育

A New Millet Variety 'Jiugu 14'

九谷14号是吉林市农业科学院作物研究所选育而成的谷子新品种。该品种品质优良,稳产、丰产性好,活秆成熟,抗逆性较好,人工接种鉴定抗谷子白发病(6.3R),抗谷瘟病(3R),中抗谷子黑穗病(21.6MR)。于2008年1月通过全国谷子品种鉴定委员会鉴定。适合吉林省东部、辽宁省西部和黑龙江省第一积温带种植,具有良好的推广应用前景。

Jiugu 14 was a new millet variety with excellent quality, stable and high yield, live mature stalk, and strong resistance, which was developed by Crop Institute, Jilin City Academy of Agriculture Sciences. The artificial inoculations indicated that it resisted to white millet disease （6. 3R）, millet blast （3R）, and moderately resisted to millet smut （21.6MR） . It was identified by the National Millet Strain Examination Committee on January 2008, which could be cultivated in east Jilin Province, west Liaoning Province, and the first accumulated temperature zone in Heilongjiang Province, and owned good popularization and application prospects.
