On the Typical Form of Oriental Literature of Modern Nationalism

20世纪初至20世纪60年代是东方现代民族主义文学思潮发展最为成熟和典型的阶段。东方各民族文学都产生了一批在文学史上占据显著地位的民族主义诗人、作家和理论家,他们的创作和理论活动,充分展现了东方现代民族主义文学思潮的共同原则和特征:反对殖民统治,高扬民族意识,要求民族独立的主题思想;功利性、现实性的审美追求;民族传统的弘扬与民族灵魂的呼唤。

From the early 20th century to the 1960s, modern nationalism is the Oriental literature and the development of the most typical mature stage. Oriental literature of all ethnic groups has produced a number of nationalist poets, writers and theoreticians who occupy a prominent place in literary history, and whose composition and theory fully demonstrated the common principles and characteristics of East modern nationalist literature： （1）against colonial rule, holding high national consciousness, national the aesthetic pursuit; （3） the call of national traditions and independence requirements; （2）utility and reality of national soul.
