摘要
该论文分析了中英谚语体现的宗教信仰差异,主要表现了谚语是凝聚着智慧的通俗话语,是它使得人的言谈常常显得那么生动活泼。由于谚语简洁明快,丰富多彩,从大学教授到田野农夫,从市井乞丐到摩登女郎,大家都在使用谚语。
In this paper, an analysis is made about religional differences between Chinese and English proverbs. It mainly shows that proverbs are the popular sayings that brighten so much English talk, the boiled-down wisdom that you are as apt to hear from professors as from peasants, from beggars as from elegances because of its briefness and colorfulness.
