摘要 基质金属蛋白酶-1(matrix metalloproteinase-1,MMP-1)可以降解牙周基质的主要成分-Ⅰ型胶原,在牙周炎的病理过程中起着重要作用。近年来研究表明在MMP-1基因启动子区存在基因多态性,其对MMP-1基因表达的影响与肿瘤的浸润和转移、子宫内膜异位症、胎膜破裂导致的早产以及牙周炎的易感性和严重程度存在联系。该文就MMP-1基因多态性对基因表达的影响及其调控机制其与牙周炎的关系的研究进展作一综述。 Matrix metalloproteinase - 1 plays an important role in the pathogenesis of periodontitis by the degradation of collagen type Ⅰ . It was shown that there may be a single nucleotide polymorphism in the promoter region of the human matrix metalloproteinase - 1 gene, which maybe not only associated with the infiltration and transplanta- tion of cancer, endometriosis and prematurity, but also related to the susceptibility and severity of periodontitis. This revew is mainly about the effect of MMP - 1 promoter polymorphism on gene expression and regulation, and its relation- ship with periodontitis.
