The main problems involved in the preliminary design of municipal .solid waste landfill site of medium and small towns in Shanxi province have been pointed out, whereafter, corresponding methods and countermeasure of solving problems are provided. It provides certain evidence and experience for the flood prevention of the city waste disposal worksites, the regulating reservoir and the optimized design of the closing treatment.
