关于子犯编钟铭文中的"西之六师"作何解释,在学界一直悬而未决。李学勤先生认为"西"指的就是晋国,这种观点是正确的。事实上,铭文中的"西之六师"就是指晋国上中下三军,之所以这样称呼,与晋国的军制特点有关。
