Harmonious Environment Ethics——A Logical Choice of Ecological Civilization Construction

历史上人类经历了采猎文明、农业文明、工业文明等文明形态,与之相应也出现了敬畏自然、依从自然的环境伦理和人类中心主义、非人类中心主义、可持续发展等环境伦理。生态文明是人类文明的高级形态,与之相适应的是和谐环境伦理。和谐环境伦理克服了可持续发展环境伦理虽然双向但不对称的缺陷,是一种双向对称的和谐伦理。它体现了人类可持续发展的能力,突出了人与自然和谐共生、永续发展的辩证关系。

Human being has experienced hunting civilization, agriculture civilization, industrial civilization, and so on. Accordantly various environmental ethics have been developed, such as, looking the nature with awe and complying with the nature, anthropocentrism, non-anthropocentrism, sustainable development and etc. Harmonious environmental ethics, developed in conformity with ecological civilization, is one of the higher forms of human civilizations. The sustainable development environmental ethics is two-way but unsymmetrical, while harmonious environmental ethics is symmetrical, which embodies human capacity for sustainable development, and highlights the dialectic relationship between human and nature, that is, to coexist harmoniously and develop sustainably.
