牢固树立社会主义生态文明观

To Firmly Establish the Socialistic Concept of Ecological Civilization

中国共产党人继物质文明、精神文明和政治文明之后,首次把"生态文明"写进党的全国代表大会政治报告中去。党的十七大报告明确指出:"生态文明观念在全社会牢固树立。"这是报告中的一大新亮点,也是实现科学发展观的必然要求。为此,每位公民必须充分认识到我国目前的生态环境状况,在全社会牢固树立生态文明观念:一是要构筑新的环境保护政策体系;二是要转变传统的价值观,树立"自然价值"观念;三是要转变只顾发展经济,不顾生态文明建设的片面发展观;四是"灌输"生态文明意识,树立全民族的生态文明观。

The Chinese Communist Party has for the first time added the concept of Ecological Civilization in its political report in the National People＇s Congress after the generalization of High Material Standards, High Cultural and Moral Standards, and Political Civilization. The report of the 17th National People＇s Congress clearly stated. ＂the concept of Ecological Civilization has been firmly established＂, which is a new and outstanding point in the report and also an inevitable demand of realizing the theory of scientific development. Therefore, every citizen should be fully aware of the current ecological and environmental conditions in our country, and the concept of Ecological Civilization should be firmly established in the whole society. In order to achieve that, firstly, a new system environmental protection policies is to be constructed; secondly, our traditional value system should change or adapt to the establishment of the value of the nature; thirdly, the one--sided development of focusing on economy without any construction of ecological civilization calls for a change; and fourthly, an education of promoting ecological civilization should be strengthened in order to improve all the citizens awareness in this regard.
