Education of farmers in the process of overall urban-rural development of Chongqing and its countermeasures

加强农民教育对于重庆市统筹城乡发展具有独特意义。在目前推进的城乡统筹发展和建设社会主义新农村工作中,农民教育相对缺位。要创新农民教育的内容和方式,提高农民的整体素质,为重庆市大农业和社会主义新农村建设打下良好的基础。

Enhancement of education of farmers is of unique significance to overall urban-rural development in Chongqing. In current work of overall developing urban and rural areas and constructing socialist villages, there are defects in farmer education. The departments concerned in Chongqing should innovate farmer education methods and contents, improve overall qualities of farmers and lay solid foundation for the construction of Chongqing＇s agriculture and socialist villages.
