英语学习越来越提倡自主性,词典举足轻重的地位也因此得到进一步加强。研究采用问卷调查的形式对英语专业学生使用词典的种类、方法、目的、效果,以及老师对选择及使用词典的指导情况进行调查,并对调查结果进行详细的分析和讨论。

Autonomy is strongly promoted in English learning. Thus dictionaries＇ position is further strengthened. The survey explores the types, methods, purposes and the effects of the use of dictionaries by English major students. Besides, the investigation of teachers＇ guidance about how to use and choose dictionaries is included. Finally a detailed analysis is made.
