The ATM based Access Network

ＡＴＭ异步转移模式是Ｂ┐ＩＳＤＮ的关键技术，Ｂ┐ＡＮ是基于ＡＴＭ网络的，是实现不同网络结构集成，是综合话音、数据、视频等业务的有效途径。本文简述了ＡＴＭ网络的基本原理，分析了实现局域网互连、用户业务的适配接入等功能，ＡＴＭ技术引入接入网为接入网注入了新的活力。

ATM is a key technology of B ISDN,and the B AN based on the ATM network constitutes an effective method of integrating different networks and combing different services such as voice,data,and video.This paper gives a brief account of the fundamental principles of the ATM network,and analyses its function like LAN interconnections and the adaptability access of the customers’ services.The ATM based access networks revitalize the existing access networks.
