Progress in Study on Streptococcus suis Type 2

猪链球菌2型(SS2)是一种人兽共患的传染病病原菌。在我国和其他养猪业发达的国家,SS2已多次流行,给各国的养猪业带来极大的经济损失,并且危及人类健康。本文对SS2的流行病学特点、培养鉴定方法、毒力因子及其致病机制的研究进展作一综述。

Streptococcus suis type 2 （SS2） is a pathogen of zoonotic infectious diseases. Several outbreaks of SS2 infection have been reported in China and other countries where pig husbandries are flourishing, resulting in heavy economic loss and threaten- ing the health of humans. The epidemiological character, methods for culture and identification as well as virulence factor and pathogenic mechanism of SS2 are reviewed in this paper.
