Effects of Combined Micro-Alloying of Ca,Ba and RE on Microstructure and Properties of AZ91D Alloy

摘要 通过铜模浇注工艺制备了1.0Ca-0.3Ba-0.1RE复合微合金化的AZ91D合金(简称AZ91D-1.0Ca-0.3Ba-0.1RE)。通过扫描电镜(SEM)和X-ray衍射仪观察了AZ91D-1.0Ca-0.3Ba-0.1Sr合金的铸态组织和物相,并对其进行了燃点和性能测试。研究结果表明:通过复合添加微量Ca、Ba和RE元素后,铸态镁合金主要有α-Mg、β-Mg17Al12、Al4Ba和Al4RE等相组成。相比于AZ91D合金,AZ91D-1.0Ca-0.3Ba-0.1RE的铸态组织明显细化,β相减少。其燃点和力学性能明显提高,燃点达到750℃,室温拉伸强度达到了195MPa。 The as-cast AZ91D magnesium alloy with the combined micro-alloying of 1.0Ca-0.3Ba-0.1RE was prepared through copper mold casting process (For short AZ91D-1.0Ca-0.3Ba-0.1RE). The as-cast microstructure and phases of alloy were investigated using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD), the ignition point and mechanical properties of the alloy were also determined. The results showed that after combined addition of Ca, Ba and RE, the phases of as-cast alloy are composed of α-Mg, 13-Mg17Al12, Al4Ba and Al4RE. The as-cast microstructure of AZ91D-1.0Ca-0.3Ba-0.1RE is obviously refined and the ignition and mechanical properties are obviously improved in comparison to AZ.91D alloy. The ignition point is above 750℃ and the room temperature tensile strength is 195 MPa.
