Prof. Kang De-tai's Experience on the Treatment of Erythroderma Psoriaticum

康德泰教授认为,红皮病型银屑病病机初期为热在血分、湿热俱盛,后期为气阴两亏,血虚风燥;在治疗上主张分期论治,初期凉血活血、清热利湿,后期益气养血、滋阴润肤,配合心理治疗及适当的外用药,疗效确切。

Prof. Kang Dek-tai considered that the pathogenesis of erythroderma psoriatieum is hyperpyrexia in Xuefen and overabundance of both damp and heat in the earlier period;deficiency of both Qi and Yin,blood deficiency and wind-dryness in the later period. Cooling blood and activating blood flow, clearing away heat evil and promoting diuresis in the earlier period and reniforcing Qi and blood, nourishing Yin to moist skin in the later period should be its therapeutic principles. Combination psychotherapy and suitanble externally applied agent, a definite curative effect was obtained.
